Can I choose my floor plan?

River Oak Group prides themselves on building homes that fit their client’s lifestyle and budget.

Our staff will have a complimentary meeting with you to identify what you are looking for in a home and have multiple floor plan options to suit all desires and budgets.

Can I select my own block of land?

Yes, however there are many traps when purchasing land and we usually request you seek our advice before committing to a block as there may be hidden site costs required which may not be immediately obvious to the purchaser.

What locations does River Oak Group build in?

River Oak provide homes from Sydney to Newcastle, The Hunter and Central West (Mudgee). In QLD The Gold Coast to Brisbane. If we don’t have any land in your preferred area, let us know and we will source something for you.

Can I choose what the façade looks like?

Yes, we have a range of facades to suit for country and contemporary style living.

Does the home come completed including driveways and fencing?

Yes, All our homes are completed on a Full Turn-Key basis. This includes all fencing, landscaping, turf, BASIX, Site costs, driveways, all wall and floor coverings and even a dishwasher.

How long does it take to build a home?

The building process will generally take between 16-20 weeks.

How do I apply for the first homeowners grant?

Do I pay Stamp Duty

In NSW first homebuyers are stamp duty exempt from homes up to $550,000.

Do I need a Solicitor or Conveyancer?

Yes, It is imperative you a have a conveyancer to review your land contract to ensure validity of title and provide advice on any issues with respect to the particular block.

How do Mortgage repayments work when building a home?

The first part of the process is the settlement of your land purchase. This is when you require your deposit/funds to complete the transaction. Your home loan then increases in increments as your build commences and works through to completion.
